My friends often ask me that why do I cut so many trailers for my movies? I have a trailer, even for a 7 minute long movie. That is weird, I know but the only reason for me to that is to learn the editing software. There is still so much to learn in film editing and every time I make a trailer I discover a new tool/feature. Last week I thought I would release the FINAL TRAILER and no more after that. But yesterday, I was watching the movie again, and I realized that my friend Shekhar Hemnani has written a beautiful poetry in the film. I can't expect everyone to watch the movie. Probability of watching the trailers is more than watching the entire movie. So just to highlight his poetry, I have made a 30 second clip (in movie we have more :-)). You can view the clip at:

ReplyDeleteThese are good figures. Just want to share. when I went to Inception, when his appeared on the screen few people were laughing. I didn't get the reason behind there laugh, thought if he was Indian.

i always knew u are an great fan of syamlan but bhaiyu give the gross earning in the same format as in the making.
ReplyDeleteit is like budget rs. 100 and earnings paise 20000. ( i.e rs 200).
there is no doubt about syamalan's creativity and talent but he himself is creating a zone for supernaturals and likewise things.
anyways what i am interested in is the fact that someday you will be having a repo where people would keep themshelves busy for analysing you, your worthiness in terms of budget and income and this is an indication that your work matters a lot for many not just audience but C.A, financers, distributors etc etc.
